A Danish developed anti-aging treatment
DermaOXY's oxygen concept is developed to work together with the skin's own processes, therefore there is a high focus on the choice of ingredients. In context, the ingredients used make a vital difference to the skin's health, moisture and structure.
We select and combine raw materials that have a documented anti-aging effect, focusing on reducing wrinkles and lines, while giving you visibly healthier skin.
Oxygen therapy is an effective and safe treatment, completely without injections.
How does oxygen therapy work?
An oxygen treatment uses pressurized oxygen to breathe nourishing and effective ingredients into the deeper skin layer, the dermis - where they can really take effect and counteract signs of aging.
Our skin is resistant to external substances, which also means that creams and serums, on their own, actually have a very difficult time penetrating deeper than the top layer of skin.
First, an Airbrush is used, which, using clean air under high pressure, blows serum through the top layer of skin and down into the dermis. This serum contains a wide range of active anti-wrinkle components, such as Hyaluronic acid that moisturizes the skin and Retinyl that stimulates cell renewal.
Using air with a 90% oxygen concentration, the active ingredients are then massaged even deeper into the skin and all the way down to the bottom of the dermis. The high oxygen concentration activates the serum's components and enhances their anti-aging effect. This ensures that the skin absorbs the active ingredients and helps to see a clear reduction in wrinkles and lines in the skin just 20 minutes after the treatment.
How do wrinkles form?
The top layer - the epidermis, is the skin's protective surface, however, the skin gets its strength, structure and elasticity from the underlying skin layer - the dermis. The dermis is responsible for the skin's fullness and is a compact layer of skin, the primary components of which are collagen, which gives the skin its strength and structure, and elastin fibers, which give the skin its elasticity and resilience.
With age, the amount of collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases, as production capacity gradually decreases after the age of 25.
- The skin loses its strength and fullness, as collagen makes up a large part of the skin's structure and connective tissue.
- Elastin fibers become loose and elasticity weakens – the skin loses its elasticity.
- The skin's ability to produce and retain moisture is impaired due to a lack of hyaluronic acid.
The effect of oxygen treatment:
- Stimulates collagen production
- Nourishes elastin fibers and increases skin elasticity
- The active ingredients are transported into the dermis using pure oxygen.
- Maintains and restores the skin's moisture balance by supplying hyaluronic acid
- Visible result 20 minutes after treatment.
Anti-aging treatment course
If you really want to fight the signs of aging, you can receive a course of treatment where oxygen treatment is supported by dermaOXY's MicrodermaBrasion treatment, which cleanses the skin and makes it more receptive to the active ingredients added during the oxygen treatment.
Documentation
